Airbag Light On Constant But No Always On? Cmax 2004

Featured Replies

Hi any ideas my air bag light is on constant, don't get any flashing I start the car and about 7 seconds after started the airbag light comes on, was off for few days then wile driving today it came back on, I read someone saying bout dodgie wires but I'm not sure what wires to be checking, any help would be appreciated

check the connector plugs under the drivers seat are good and tight, they can work loose if the drivers seat is moved back and forth for different drivers creating a lit airbag light.

Thanks for the rapid reply, I had a look at the black box under the seat that looked ok is there anougher plug under there somewhere, might have to rip all the black plastic off that goes round the wires and make sure none are damaged, is strange tho as it not always on, my chair is always being moved too
