Loss Of Power

Featured Replies

Hi can anyone help meplease. i have a fiesta 1.2 lx auto 96. Whilst travelling on motor way last week i noticed car was loosing power so i had to pump accelerator, took into garage next day who said nothing wrong. same thing happend afew days later took back too garage and now he says thinks its gearbox problem as revs stay up ?? anyone have any ideas

Welcome to the Forum Miranda.

1) does your car idle higher than usual or has it not really changed?

2) when your car was losing power, where the revs increasing?

3) was there any additional smoke?

4) is it Petrol, or diesel?

Hopefully these questions will help us get you a few more answers!
