Rear Light Cluster Problem

Featured Replies

Hi all, a little advice if thats ok.

Ive got a mk 1 sierra, just failed its mot on an issue with the indicators and rear lights. It only affects the rear lights but all of them. When the indicators are on the other bulbs/ lights pulse at the same time as the indicators, this includes reversing, brake and rear fogs.

So far Ive checked and cleaned all the terminals and earths in the rear of the vehicle, a tow bar is fitted with a tail board socket which is connected using the blue piggy back connectors. Everthing seems in good order. This problem does not interfer with the headlights.

Im not sure what to try nex,t any advice would be apprecited.

cheers

Ewen

It sounds like you have water somewhere in the electrics at the fear of the car; WD40 is good for dispelling water in hard to get places.
