Mondeo 2.2 Tdci 200Ps With Bp Ultimate Diesel

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2012 61 plate Mondeo Titanium X sport 2.2 tdci 200ps with 7k on the clock.

I decided to fill it up with BP Ultimate diesel today and after about half an hour of driving I could see blue smoke in the rear view mirror under acceleration. The car has never kicked out any smoke until today and it's only visible whilst accelerating.... Please can anybody offer any advice on why this could have happened? Slightly worried now!

Thank you

do you do a lot of short journeys?

Got the car on the 16th of January and it's done 7k up to now with very few short journeys. Seems to be much better today and I haven't noticed any smoke during acceleration, I topped the tank up with shell regular diesel this evening.

As its under warranty i would just go back to fords if you think there is a problem.
