Hi All,

This is my first post, would like some help if possible...

I Have a 6000 CD RDS E-O-N factory unit in my car.

Today it has shown on the display CD ERROR and underneath this Err 11....

My CD won't play not can I eject it

Can anyone help me on how I can remedy this?.

    Error code E11 is "SPI bus failure" the correction is "check and repair wiring harness" if OK "replace audio unit" this from the Ford workshop manual.

    It is suggested you disconnect the car battery. Probably easier to disconnect the radio, leave it for about 30 minutes and re-connect it, just make sure you have your security code first.

    If that doesn't resolve the problem then it will be a replacement radio, get one from eBay as direct from Ford they will be about £400.
