Have you ever had one of these? you know the bugger needs to come out , you grunt and strain, Its obviously longer than you first thought ! you twist and pull your muscles, you feel you should stand up but you cant, then finally it drops with a plop into the pan!......................Getting old sump drain plugs out can be a real problem!!!!!
