Smax Problems

Featured Replies

Hi guys I am new to the site and I could really do with some advice.

My SMAX has lost power, basically it feels like the Turbo has stopped. I have had the AA out and he has done a diagnostics check which has shown nothing.

I only had the AA out yesterday with a flat battery fault.

Prior to this I had the Dual Mass flywheel replaced and the steering rack.

I also have the bonnet open light on constantly when the bonnet is shut & I am low on washer fluid when I am not.

Finally the Alarm goes off when it feels like it.

This all from a 38000 mile car. I love the car and it looks the business but these faults are crazy.

Please help as any advice is appreciated

cant remember wether its on here or the smax forum, but iirc there is a problem with the alarm module which i think is under the front passenger inner wing, water ingress.

this MAY be whats at fault.
