Hi, I am new to this forum so apologies in advance if its in the wrong place. I have just bought a Focus ST170 on an 03 plate with 92k miles. Just had it serviced. Problem is engine management light switched on so I took it back to local garage. He says he has not seen the code before. Then had to google it and it points at the inlet manifold I think the imrc? He says I have to take it back monday so his mate from ford can delve further. The engine is not performing good and goes through the revs slow and drinks fuel. I have heard that it may be the imrc and that is over £200, a lot to pay iof it isn't the problem. Anyone any ideas, thanks guys
