High,have posted about my new ownerships woes last week (suspected DMF failure which wasn't) and part of the woe was engine management light. Got the car back from dealer today after they have rectified the issues that the car had. I think he said the Engine management light code was EGR valve and that they have erased the code and it'll be fine but they do come on occasionally.

I've read about these needing cleaning but was under the impression (probably the wrong one!) that EGR's were on diesels? If not are they easy to clean? The light did come on a couple of weeks back but after the battery had been disconnected it went out.
