Will be nice to see pictures of you fitting them at each stage. Looks a bit of a big job shame it's not a case of a couple of bolts and done.

Principles are the same zetecS kit attaches to standard bumpers,

But ST/RS are full replacement panels.

I'm sorry to be a pain but does just clip over existing bumper?

Im unsure of the exact bonding method on the Mk3 it may also require for example "Tiger Seal" body kit adhesive, and or the removal of an existing scuff panel.

Fitting instructions would be provided in the box from Ford and the only main parts involved would be; an existing standard bumper and the zetecS diffuser,

Cheers pal I've found a second hand one so I doubt instructions come with it.

Well its not a ford zetecS rear diffuser that has a lip on the sides,

Its just a copy of the centre diffuser section,

But to the untrained eye, they look much the same when fitted,

Id try buying from china directly though mate; they are selling for under 30pounds

Lenny,

On this skirt shouldn't the exhaust go through the two middle square bits not on the edge? Debating if it will look silly or not?

Its a nice idea mate but would melt the bumper.

Exhaust can get up to around 900 degrees more if its stainless steel holds more heat.

Cleared that up. Can't find it on either sites you listed. Regards to duplex exhaust if I just want two pipes out the end what should I ask for? Do I need a specialist company to do it? There are a lot of exhaust places around here but I think they fit them more than create ect

Any exhaust repair place with a mandrel bending machine can build you a duplex,

Heres an image to show them mate,

A duplex pipe will fit from existing muffler, designed to hang from focus ST exhaust hangers,

The holes for these hangers are already pre-drilled in the chassis,

Simple bolt on job,

The duplex can be designed to sleeve over the pipe exiting your existing muffler,

No the ST bumper is more pronounced; its fatter and one piece construction,

My zetecS diffuser was bonded with tape,

Its starting to seperate from the bumper due to cleaning agents hardening the foam tape it was stuck with.

It needs tiger seal to bond correctly, should have been bonded with tiger seal in the first place.

What you reckon?

About what  please dont be naked...

Look great

I have purchased it £70.50 in total which is a bit expensive but it is a good EU company. Hopefully it arrives soon and fits well on my mk2.5. Just read it says for focus ST, that is the same same as the mk2.5 facelift right?

  • 3 weeks later...

Alright it came today and now I feel like a right mug! It turned out to only be the diffuse FINS. £62 for 3 diffuser fins and 3 weeks damn. It's not even gloss black its sea grey(It's much greyer in person picture makes it look a bit black)! Well that's £62 down the drain as it doesn't even fit my standard diffuser

  • 1 year later...

I'm new to all this, but I love the look of the diffuser you have on the titanium. im just wondering how easy it is to achieve this on a standard zetec. How does this fit on a standard zetec bumper? TIA

  • 2 months later...

The ZetecS kit attaches to the standard focus bumper any focus hatchback both 3 & 5 Door from 2008-2011 excluding the ST & RS models,

The China diffuser section is a non Genuine immitation item, it doesn't sit as low as the original article nor does it add a lip to the bumper it just sticks on the middle of the existing bumper,

But if your happy with its results it's definitely a cheaper alternative.

This is the Genuine Ford Focus ZetecS rear diffuser; notice the lip which spans the full width of the rear bumper

This is the imitation rear diffuser from China doesn't add the lip to the bumper just creates a centre section.
