Factory Sony Stereo Upgrade for iPhone 3G

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 2008 Focus Zetec 1.8 TDCi with the 6000CD stereo (without an AUX cable for some really annoying reason, but I do have the AUX button there!)

I have an iPhone 3G and wish to A: Send and receive calls through the stereo and B: Play my Ipod tunes through the stereo.

My options as I see it are:

1. Buy a Parrot and connect to existing stereo and add a phone car charger.

2. Upgrade my stereo to the Sony Bluetooth model.

What would you suggest and does anybody use an iPhone 3G with the Sony Bluetooth upgraded model and does it work/is it compatible for calls and tunes?

Thanks.
