Leaky Sunroof

Featured Replies

I have a leaking sunroof on my MK3 Escort. I turned to Ford for help, but there wasn't much they could do for a 32yr old car!

Has anyone out there had the same problem, have any tips on repair or know of a specialist I can take it to?

The last thing I want to have to do is seal it shut

Just thought I should mention that I have checked the drain channels and the are clear and running freely

1st off clear all crud out from around the seals, then watch how it closes from both inside and out.

then take a looksie at the workings, iirc on fords it will be a couple of torx screws.undo them 1 at a time push the roof up into the seal of the roof and retighten do the same on all you see.hopefully this may cure your problems?

Thanks for your advice on this. It would appear some one has already had a go at doing this and stripped the threads in the process!

Thanks anyway.
