Thinking Of Buying A Capri

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of buying a Ford Capri over the next year or so as I've always fancied a classic Ford. Any suggestions on things to look for when buying one? I know about problems like rust and so on but I would welcome any other bits of advice.

Cheers

My dad had three in his day I'l ask him for you but I suppose depends on engine too becuase they had a few. I've always pondered on the idea of one or even a mk2 escort.

Cheers mate,

I quite fancy either a Mk3 1.6 or a 2.0l. I think they're great looking cars, always loved the mustang as well hence my fascination with the Capri. Mind you, old escorts are nice. If you could get your hands on a Mk1, your laughing :).
