2002 Mondeo 2.0 Tdci Power Loss

Featured Replies

Hi there i brought a mondeo 2.0 tdci the other day. took the car for a test drive and everything was fine. So on the way back home i went on the motorway and at the speed of 60mph the car goes into limp mode and lost all accerleration power. So i pulled over and waited a few mins and tried again and everything seem find but as soon as you go over 60mph the power goes. I've looked online and read a few forums but still have no idea. I'm waiting for a lead to come to do a diagnostic on it see if any fault codes come up.

I took the car back to the dealer i got it from and they said they gonna fix it. which i hope and or otherwise i'm getting my money back..
