Mk3 Mondeo Carpet Question

Featured Replies

Under the back seat there are 2 oblong type slots in the carpet does anyone know should these have some sort of clip in them to keep carpet in place. If so do you have a part number??. My carpet seems very saggy and i think the carpet in mine under the seat should have clips in them which would then i think tighten it all up. May be wrong so just quering this really.

cheers steven.

It's possible the slots are for the Isofix child seat system.

If your carpet is slack then you could simply use carpet tape and glue to secure it better.

Spray the glue on first and then stick the tape to the glue for better adhesion.

Sounds plausible Stoney. Just me thinking coz carpet was slack and i noticed those slots and thought maybes they were for some sort of cliip to fix the carpet securely..
