Double Din Stereo In Mk3?

Featured Replies

I'm looking at swapping out the 6000CD unit with something that can handle an iPod/ iPhone a bit better, it's been on my to-do list for nearly 2 years now.

I know it's been done, but info seems to be a bit hard to really get hold of.

I'd like to stick on of these in:

Is fitting the fascia adapter plate really as simple as removing the old radio unit with the keys and putting in the new plate? I did a radio change on my Mk6 Fiesta and that was pretty awkward, pulling out the whole centre console and whatnot.

I also want to keep the steering wheel stalk controls in use, how do I know what's compatible and what isn't?
