6000 Cd Avc Function Lost After Car Battery Change

Sorry if this has been covered before but I've just swapped the main car battery in my 2003 Mondeo and after checking the settings on the 6000 cd player after fitting the new battery I noticed the AVC function has disappeared from the menu options. It was there before I disconnected the old battery. Has anyone else ever had this happen, any ideas on why it's gone and how to get it back would be appreciated.

    Been out for a drive and it's all come back, very strange.

    It may have been that the radio needed to re-detect the avc sensor before it would display the setting again.
