Low Washer Fluid Level Warning

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm getting the message "Low washer fluid level" when I am driving, but the reservoir is full.

No water is coming through to wash the windscreen, and I cannot hear any noise from the pump.

The fuse for the pump is fine.

It looks to me as if the pump has failed, but does the message mean that there is a blockage between the reservoir and the pump ?

This started before the big freeze.

Thanks,

Ed

I do wonder if said message stops the pump from operating (preventing damage). Could be a sensor fault

my Ford Galaxy 2011 TDCI tells me that the fluid washer level is low while the reservoir is full and also tells me that the key battery is low even after i've changed the battery.

both washer pump and key fob works well except for the messages always popping up. What does this mean and what could be done?
