kpg
I don't know if anyone is interested in guitars here or not but I thought I'd share a few pics of mine for those of you how might be :) . The most I've had at any one time was 4, which were al Telecasters, but I've whittled it down to 2 at the minute. Looks like it'll be staying that way for a while too, they just fit my style perfectly. Currently I have 2 Teles; Fender Baja Telecaster, Black Fender Blacktop Telecaster, Silver A few pics just to whet your appetites: Installed a new bridge there the other day on the Blacktop, sounds great! If anyone else wants to show off their pride and joy, have at it, I'd love to your weapon of choice! Kiefer.
b1g_dav3
I have myself an ESP AX250 and plonked in an EMG81/85 setup, great guitar to play anything with really, looking for something to put a set of 81/60 or 85/60's in :P

The neck is surprisingly chunky and being a Tele it's solid as fawk. I take it the 81/60 or 85/60 are standard humbucker dimensions? They'd be a straight swap with the hums in the Blacktop. b1g_dav3
Have actually considered a tele, something more laid back looking rather than the out there ESP shape. Had also considered a Les Paul style guitar, but not sure on that, would much prefer the Tele out of the two. Any idea on how much I'd need to spend for something decent? It depends on whether you need humbuckers or single coils? and price? Here is the Blacktop Tele with humbuckers: http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_blacktop_telecaster_hh_mn_sv.htm And the Baja Tele with single coils: http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_classic_player_baja_tele_bk.htm But if that's too expensive you could go with a Squier, owned by Fender, cheaper but good quality, obviously not as good as Fender but good enough for me to have owned 3 of them. Squier Tele Custom with humbuckers (les paul style): http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_tele_custom_bk.htm Squier classic vibe 50s telecaster with single coils: http://www.thomann.de/gb/fender_squier_classic_vibe_tele_50s.htm The difference between humbuckers and single coils, generally, is that humbuckers have a thicker sound and single coils have cutting bite. It really depends on preference. I would chose single coils over humbuckers but I have a humbucker tele (blacktop) just for the option of having humbuckers if/when i need them. hope that Makes sense? lol
b1g_dav3
I need the pickup's, but they're not really the concern as I have the money for those in a separate fund, so the guitar itself would be in price range at around the £500 mark, and comes in black :P I could also paint the plastic guard too to make it more my own guitar as well, which has always been a bonus. All I don't like is the look of the volume and tone nobs, but then again they'd probably grow on me. Might end up switched out for some black ones though :P Must say I've always fancied a BC Rich, but I do feel it may be a little over the top :P

b1g_dav3
Well I usually have my cheap nasty £35 acoustic near me that for some reason sounds pretty awesome, that comes in handy for playing Metallica solo's, or the Jurassic Park theme :P
