Hello, I have seen some people with the rear heater switch being a different colour to how it is standard. Also with the light dial changing colour from standard.

How is this done?

Is it just a different colour bulb put in?

Most of the switches get a new SMD LED soldered in place.

There a few people on Ebay who sell them pre-done as well as can do it if you supply the switch.

Yes mate its my car. The blue illuminated gear knob is off the mk7.5 fiesta and also comes in green and red. Its not an exact fit, mines just been jammed on and then ive wired it up using the ignition live on my stereo. You can also change your Speedo colour:

Just be aware though that whatever colour you pic you wont be able to get the heater controls any other colour than green same as the 2 LED screens in the dash which is a bit of a gutter. Theres a green filter on the heater controls. All the other switches is just a case of soldering a new different colour led to the switch. I just bought mine ready done saves so much hassle. Theres a guide to changing all the switches over-link in my signature. Im going to update it soon to include the headlight switch although ill give you a heads up that its a flipping nightmare to change it lol

Think I may have to just get it ready done, going for the red theme in my car.

Think the dials is a bit too complex, but I have seen the heater switch, window switches and the headlight control which I will eventually buy, the seller has made it sound so easy to change:

"Sorry forgot to say about fitting, headlight control is very easy. Remve the cubby hole under the stering wheel on the right. Put your hand up behind the switch and pinch the top and the bottom of it together and push out from the rear.

Screens switch, just a cloth wrapped around a narrow flat head screwdriver and prise them out."

That is not how the headlight switch comes out on the fiesta! Lol well not my mk6 anyway I dont know about the facelift model. On the mk6 you need to remove 3 screws one of which is an absolute flipping nightmare! I will be doing a guide just shortly on how to fit the gear knob. And changing the Speedo colour was an absolute doddle-see my guide on fitting a Lockwood dial kit. Although im not sure if you can get it in red illumination

I got my gear knob off someone from the forums heres a link to one though that should be green or red depending on which wires you use

I looked at the speedo but dont see where you changed the colour- just the backing isn't it?

Actually just checked and you cant get the different colour dial kit for yours so scrap that idea lol

The full Speedo sticker gets changed and the illumination colour is stuck to the sticker

Can the speedo lights and centre console lights be changed on a 12 plate fiesta? 

 

Going green and white in mine so the orange isn't the best looking, I'm hopeless with these things :')
