Mazda B3000 V6 Won't Start. Help?

Featured Replies

Hi guys. I wanted know if anybody could help me out. I have a mazda b3000 v6. Witch is esentualy a Ford ranger pick up truck. The thing won't start. The starter does not swing the motor. Seems like it might have too much compression? If I rock the truck back and forth with it in gear it moves the motor. But won't spin with the starter. What could be causing this?

not a seized motor is it?

I don't think its siezed. If I put it in gear and push it I can get the motor to turn. I took the spark plugs out and turn the motor to a point then it stops there. Like it gets stuck

I would be considering crank shaft or similar as its turning so far to be honest, either that, or something in the gearbox / drive shaft might have seperated causing the so far bump but then cease to move further.
