My power socket has suddenly stopped working and have tried changing the fuse.

Any ideas? Can't see anything else wrong at the mo.....apart from USB doesn't work with 4th generation nano, but aux socket does

Help please!

    Have you tried using it with more than one accessory? Sometime chargers etc are all individually fused if you unscrew the ends?

    've tried other chargers. Sat nav, phone charger etc.

    Tomroscoe, I don't know. How do I tell perma live from not?

    If you have permanent live the socket will work even with the ignition off.

    With some plug in chargers the contacts sometimes don't touch the inside of the socket properly due to different socket diameters and depths.

    Make sure the positive terminal on the charger is actually in far enough to touch the bottom of the socket.

    Unfortunately I can't tell if I have permanent live or not as the socket does not work at all!

    Is this a known regular fault or am I just unlucky?
