poohbear
So, how old were you when you passed your test? And what cars have you had before? Just generally interested!!! I was 17 (learnt in 2 months) and passed first time, something i'm very proud of, as my dad taught me to drive as soon as I turned 17. My first car was a 2001 mk5 moondust silver 1.3 flight. Second car is my current mk7 fiesta.
johnnymac16
I was 17 too, passed with 3 minors... 1st car was a 2000 x plate fiesta zetec 1.25 in silver, which i had for 3 months then i ordered... my 55 plate in aquarius blue which was a basic fiesta style which cost me 8000 grand brand new, i kept this till march 07... which i then traded it back in an got a face lifted fiesta zetec freedom as i wanted air con an alloy wheels an a 1.4 engine, this was in ocean blue, it was a great car, until octoberthat year i crashed it down a lane, it got repaired well... but then i saw the ads for the new fiesta and couldnt get my eyes of it.... so now in october last year i looked at a new fiesta, and ordered a fiesta titanium in black an got it a month early as it was due for a christmas present to my self, and i got in 25th november... its brill and i love it... will be keeping til at least march 2010 b4 i upgrade again... but im only 21 still and love my fords soo what ever else comes out an takes my fancy! hehe
JAR897
Passed first time... but was upset because I didn't get to show off my knowledge to the fit female driving instructor because it was raining and she didn't want to get her hair wet lol. Not that she would be interested and probably think I was just a boring car geek. lol. Had my first car, a 1.0littre corsa 2003 model, which has served me well. Her name was ruby becuase she was dark red. I'm now awaiting my FIESTA! (YAY!) for my 21st birthday which is in February 2010, but I have ordered it before April 1st to avoid the price increases (I supose an early 21st preasent?). :D

Bashful
Oh dear .... I was a very late starter! Passed my test 5 years ago at age 35!!!! Have had 2 Ka's - a Ka Collection then a Ka Zetec Climate and now my pink panther Fiesta! I had a few lessons when I was 17, dad took me out and as I was reversing into a fence he pulled the handbrake on and the cables snapped - that ended my driving ambitions for many years. 5 days after passing my driving test I was handing in some documents at the Ford dealer, sat in a StreetKa in the showroom and tripped getting out and broke my ankle! (a bit off topic there but it's quite funny) :) :)

MichellefromEssex
When we first got it the numberplate I chose ended in UGG after my boots lol, now although we have MAX on the plate I aint calling her that, its gotta be MO after Mountune, also I remember on here calling her Maureen (after that "shes cheap" radio advert, cant remember why I said it though I think its because the car was ending up costing a bomb lol) and Mo is short for Maureen lol

Truly55
Passed 1st time just after my 17th birthday. Since then I've owned: Morris Marina 1.3 deluxe Metro HLS MG Metro MG Metro (all white) - very hip in '86 GT Beetle Rover 213S Escort diesel (drealful car) Vauxhall Vectra SEAT Toledo Renault Scenic Renault Megane Coupe Renault Laguna Toyota Celica Toyota Celica T Sport (massively modded car) Toyota Prius T4 Honda Civic Type R GT Toyota Prius T Spirit and now aiming for the 3rd gen Toyota Prius later this year No, I'm not green and a tree hugger I couldn't care less about what I drive but I like the techy stuff in the Prius and, yes, the Prius does more damage to the planet (in mining the ores for the battery) than building and driving a Hummer. hedgepig
Passed first time shortly after my 17th birthday. Since then I've owned: Mini Van Ford Anglia Morris Oxford Hillman Hunter Escort Mk 1 Cortina Mk 2 Cortina Mk 3 Cortina Mk 5 Escort Mk 3 Fiesta Mk 1 Morris Marina 1.8 TC Escort XR3i Fiesta XR2 Escort RS Turbo Vauxhall Cavalier Escort XR3i Cabriolet Orion 1.6 inj Ghia Pug 405 Pug 205 Pug 306 Mini Cooper Mini Cooper S Corsa 1.2 SXi Astra TT And finally (for now anyway) Fiesta 1.6!! And, yes, some of them have had names. Bet you can't guess what I called all 3 Peugeots...........................want me to tell you? The 405 was called big Pug; 205 was baby Pug; and 306 was just Pug!! Janet calls this one"Pinky" for obvious reasons although I prefer "Perky" as it describes its performance whilst still maintaining my fondness for pigs!
