2006 Fiesta 1.4 Tdci Immobiliser / Wiper Problems??

Featured Replies

Hi

Wonder if anyone could shed any light / offer any helpful suggestions to a problem I am having with my Fiesta?

For the last week or so when I have started it the wipers have flicked on - strange but didn't really pay much attention to it happening, then the last 3 or so days the first time I turn the key the engine wont turn over - 2nd try it has been starting fine.....

Today I have ran around in it, got in it to drive home and it would not start - immobiliser light was flashing like mad and car would not turn over at all. Tried locking it again and un-locking, no luck. Left it unlocked about 5 mins, tried to start it again and it started - did notice that the immobiliser light went out this time.

At a bit of a loss as to what this could be - assuming its something electrical as the wipers come on when this happens??

Any suggestions appreciated. Its a 1.4 TDCI 2006 '56' - Thanks
