Ford Mondeo Interior Lights Stopped Working. Fuse?

Featured Replies

Hello, I have a 2005 ford mondeo 2.0 tdci ghia

An interior bulb in the roof above rear seats stopped working so i removed the bulb and put in a new one, but now all the interior lights have stopped working, including lights under door mirrors.

Any suggestions?

Is it a fuse that has blown?

If so, where can I find the fuse and what rating?

Thanks guys

Sounds like the fuse to me.

Ford's seem to like blowing fuses if the courtesy lights are fiffled with for some reason.

Not sure of fuse number or rating (probably a red 15Amp one) but it will be the footwell board you need to look at.

fuse 97 7.5amp i believe

are your number plate lights out also?

Hello and welcome to the forum

Its in the fusebox behind the glovebox - 7.5a (pre-facelift) 10a (facelift) fuse 99 - in the bottom right-hand corner - it is easy to short the fuse when you change the bulb as the terminals on the holder can easily touch the metal (earth) of the roof

fuse 97 is for the glove box light - it comes on with the sidelights/headlights and is different from the other interior lights (fuse 99)
