That pattern of stripe would be called a variation of the 1969 Boss "reverse C stripe" used on the original as well as the recent Mustang Boss 302 of 2012. It really works well on the Fiesta too!

Where can you buy them?

Not available at this time. I could find no such offering at the most common sites that sell Fiesta graphic kits here in the states. You could just download the image file and have a local graphics shop work one up for you that is similar. I like the side stripes but the hood does not appeal to me. My guess is those graphics were painted on the ST at SEMA. They may never have existed as vinyl.

Would DMB or similar graphic place be able to make some up. ?

Im an ignorant American. Ask DMB.

Ive saved the pic and emailed DMB will reply when i have an answer on how much how long and if it can be done

Its not an ST :p

I must say I do prefer the US spec headlights with the amber side piece.

Spoken to DMB graphics today and they can replicate the strip all together for £50 plus delivery so im going to get some fit it and see what you think :)

I may go for a set for my ST, possibly get the roof wrapped and then something for the bonnet to finish it off.

When they have made them and i have fitted them I'll upload pics wont be for 2weeks maybe 3 as they need to make it and dimensions and things before they can make it, he will get back to me once they have the prototype hopefully soon!!

Gonna keep an eye on this topic, I would be interested in seeing these when they are made up , might get some myself

Been thinking of the original Boss hood design but not sure it'll work with the Fiesta's bonnet shape, it'll look like those terrible 'Euro look' cars from a year or so back instead >_>

What color are the stripes that you ordered?

What would go best with black? White?

Thanks ^^

As soon as hes got the template sorted any colour vinyl you like or carbon fibre look alike

I'll be getting black as of blue car, but on a black car its personal preference tbh if you've painted the callipers a nice colour match it with them but like i say personal preference :) have what you want and want you like!

I think 3M corporation offers a reflective black vinyl. I do not know if they market their vinyl products in the U.K. It was first used here in the late sixties. It is very subtle in normal daylight, but at night gives a very interesting sparkling grey reflection when under artificial light. That would look very sharp to have what are literally "glow in the dark" stripes on a dark colored Fiesta.

For black you really want white if you want the Boss look, otherwise go with whatever you please. I'm going for white on my Molten Orange ST, don't think I'll bother on the ZS.

I looked a little deeper at what was offered back then. A 1970 Boss 302 buyer could get the reflective black material as O.E. Ford and other manufacturers were trying to give muscle cars some political correctness by offering "high visibility" or "safety" as a feature on muscle cars. Insurance companies were starting to punish the buyers of these cars with high rates. So,just like the decade they came from, it looks like pretty much anything goes!

good news people they have made a prototype and it fits :) Dave from DMB says he will send mine out tomorrow as they are away today, but i should have it on the car in a weeks time with pictures and everything to follow :) watch this space :)

Well guys an update, here is a picture on Dave's car from DMB, just got mine ordered should be on the car very soon!! Excited about it :) when i have it on the car you can see what you think :) not sure if Dave is producing them but if you ask him about the c strip kit he done for Daniel Dowe he will soon get you the info :)

Should be done when the wether allows me after i have them :)

Erm, not my sort of thing. Having at last got my cat last week i really dont think it needs anything added, it looks perfect as it is.

But each to there own mate.

yh each to their own, i think its really good, cannot wait to get it on the car :)
