It's at the rear of the engine under the scuttle panel and up against the firewall.

thanks whats the best way to clean it? can i take the pipe off the side and use egr cleaner ?

Its best to remove it altogether and de-coke it, alternatively, the cheapest and easiest answer is an EGR blank.

ok thanks i will look into it. ill try cleaning it first. in the pic above do i need to remove the whole thing or just the bit on the right side ?

Start with the right, but it will build up on both sides, so you will need to remove it and try again!
