AdamC11
Hi, I'm going to be booking my car in with Ford this week for a front set of brake pads. Does anybody know the price (inc fitting)? Thank you Adam

BigD
I wouldn use ford the parts an labour expensive u best off buying set out a motor factors an ask an indi garage fit them ...or fit them yourself - it's pretty easy if you know one end of a spanner from the other. But either way, don't go to Ford for this! You'll pay more than double what you need to.
Mark ecoboost
I was quoted £170 for new front brakes a few weeks back at the local ford garage. I agree with everyone else, go to a local garage
Danwel
That's very expensive. Get the Haynes manual it's very good and do it yourself.

BigD
I had my Focus saloon (1.8TDDI) for eight years and only needed to replace the brake pads once, shortly before I sold it. They were on the car when I bought it, and while I had it they covered almost 80,000 miles. So decent pads can really last for years if you aren't driving like a tool.
