Hi all,

I've had aproblem with my car for a while now and it really is starting to do my head in now!!

My car has no power what so ever, if press throttle to floor the car stutters and revs drop to 1800 and up to 2000 then back to 1800!!! if I lift the throttle a bit the revs pick up but still nothing like what it should be, you can be driving down road and put car in neutural and put throttle to floor and does the 1800 to 2000 revs all the time and there is a funny smell when you do that!!

Any ideas anyone?

The car is throwing error code p0420 out but it was showing that within a week of buying the car but was still running fine!!

    Choked up cat perhaps? Would certainly give the reason for the lack of power and possibly the smell?
