chippy1 Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Looking to buy a second hand fiesta years from 2005/2007 was looking at the fiesta 1.25 style climate but are they any good the other one i considered is the 1.4 TDCI whats your opions on these, passegers for most of the time will be 2 adults and 1 child. Nathan_M Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 The 1.25 petrol is a good engine it's got a handful more hp than my 1.4 and that isn't a completely lost cause with passengers I wouldn't know about the diesel, try looking for zetec,climate models I think they would offer the best mix of accessories and price. Nathan_M Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 I would say the 1.2 petrol to be fair it is nippy and would quite happily go along on dual carriageways etc, if you look at any petrols look in the history for a waterpump replacement as this is a common early failing, if it's done about 80k also look for cam belt changes as it may well be getting close to its time.
