2007 Mk2 Camshaft Position Sensor

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I've owned a second-hand focus since Sep '13. It's been running great up until just after christmas. The engine systems fault light flashed up amber and would intermittently turn on and off over periods of days (some days on, some days off). Since I don't own a code scanner, I took it to my garage to get the code checked (P0365) and they recommended that get a replacement sensor. So this morning they fitted the new sensor, the warning light was off and everything was ok. But on starting the car this evening to leave work, the amber light was instantly back up. Should I fork out another £42 to get the code scanned in case it's a coincidental separate issue? The garage is a small, family run reputable business so I don't assume they've scammed me.

Sorry for wall of text, thanks for your time!
