Ford Focus Starting Problem

Featured Replies

HI all, this has probably mentioned before, but totally new to this so wasn't sure.

I have a 51 plate 1.4 focus, over the last month or so it has been hard to start in a morning, it ticks over fine but just doies nt fire up, you can feel it trying and eventually it does or if a jump start it, it does fine and once running will fire up straight away!!!!!!

Is this something simple i can get fixed???????

Also my heaters are now only blowing on speed 4, 1/2/3 do not work!!!!!!

Many thanks for any replies.

The start up issue sounds similar to what I had last year and it was a battery on its way out it can't sustain the charge required to turn the engine and serve it, check the battery and as for the fan blower the switch is broken and will need to be replaced, never done it myself but many on here have so hopefully one of them will pipe up and sort you out.
