Mk4 2008 Mondeo

Featured Replies

Just had my Mondeo serviced and I have been told I need a new sump plug. Does anyone know the part number and the best place to get one from. I'm assuming all Mondeos are the same as mine is Spanish.

Should be able to get one from Unipart for less than a tenner.

You just had the car serviced, they knew it needed a new sump plug, but did the oil change anyway knowing the sump plug needed replacing? (i.e. you'll need to drain the oil again to change the sump plug)? Hmmm....

Anyway....

Get one from your local motor factors - I did and it was less than £1.50 (so I bought three). The exact same thing from Ford is about £9.
