One end of a supply pipe has blown off and I suspect it is a split or worn connector. The end indicated looks as if you just need to insert a small screwdriver to release. The other end looks as if it will be a simple push fit.

Can anyone confirm that replacing this pipe is a straightforward sort of push and fit job, or do I need to have it done for me

What is the pipe ando what does it connect to?

It is a fuel supply pipe that runs from in front of the distributor to the rear.

Took a chance and ordered a replacement pipe, and when I got it, it was self-evident what to do - in fact, the hardest part was paying for it- £46.45

You usually find that once you have a new part in your hand, a good look at it usually helps you figure out how it goes on or comes off.
