Need Help.

Featured Replies

hi all, got a 2003 ST170 with 150k on clock, trouble is when I get to 4000 revs while driving it just starts kangarooing back and forth, then I have to change up a gear to drop revs back below 4000rpm. while stationary if I press accelerator quickly it will reach just under 600rpm, but if I gradually press it down then I can get it right to 7000rpm. just while im driving it wont pass 4000rpm. also I have just put new plugs and leads on this week and hasn't cured it, all help appreciated.

When was the last time fuel and air filter were both replaced? or the engine oil and filters?

Not sure. Know air filter looks fairly recent. Just discovered engine management light is also on after checking the bulbs out. Will have to get it plugged in
