Hi there need some help and advice just plugged in to me Mondeo 1.8 Sci Estate 53 plate and the Error Code P0555 came up been flicking through this forum and other websites and can't really find anything on it I.e parts etc can anyone help?

Is this a new fault, or is it you just scanned the car and this came up?

Iv scanned it before and cleared it and it popped up within 10 minutes. So need to get it sorted as I'm trying to sell the car currently. Any suggestions?

I need some direction pointing where I can get the parts to sort it really been looking online and I to be onhest don't know what to look for exactly.

I dont know exactly how to fix it, but if you find the ABS module, you should see a seperate hose that comes out of that and to another module. This is probably what you are looking for. Start off by checking its connectivity and make sure that its got a good ground connection. Then, check the hose and make sure its not damaged.

Ok so iv found the sensor (well I think) typed in the part number and it's come up with Map Sensor? Sound about right? It's £25 on eBay which is not as bad as I was expecting.

it cant hurt to replace the MAP sensor, but I dont believe that is the issue, you need to check the hose leading to the ABS module, which is at the bulkhead under the windscreen not sure where if its left right or center though.
