Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows the reason for this.

My trip on my car has: Temp, Range, Mpg, and digital speedo.

The temp and range work fine but the mpg and speedo come up with crazy number.

Not a big problem but it is annoying lol.

    the average speed is based on the time the engine is running, so while the engine is idling on the drive or at traffic lights, that time is taken into the average so if you spend 10 mins doing 30 mph and 10 mins at the lights the average will work out at 15mph, or there abouts as there is the speed up and slow down time too.

    The mpg gauge is well known to be inaccurate on mondys. There are cases of it being 10-12mpg out. Most people tend to ignore the figures and due manual calculations. fill the tank up and reset the trip, then the next time you fill up, work out the miles driven to litres put in to get your mpg.
