I am hoping someone can help please?

I picked up my fiesta style 2012 last week and have no idea how to change the information display (trip computer?) please? I have tried allsorts and getting no where fast. In the manual it says to use the stalk but its not on this fiesta.

In pressing buttons randomly I've also managed to light the Information symbol button up and no idea how to get it off. :unsure:

Would be really grateful for any advice.

    Hi and welcome. If you can't press the end of the indicator stalk in then you can use the button sticking out through the plastic covering the rev counter (bottom right), this works in exactly the same way. Pressing it cycles through the various options/counters and holding it in for a while clears the selected one (things like trip distance).

    Which information symbol do you mean? The one in the centre audio display? As far as I know this only comes on temporarily for things like having a door open with the engine on or when there is a fault with the car. I don't remember the exact menu structure but one of the options on that display is 'messages' - this should show the text associated with that information light.

    I have found the button, great. Do you know if I would only have 2 options to choose from? I was hoping to have how many miles to when I would need to refill the car?

    The Information light has now gone off.

    I'm not sure if the Style has trip computer, I know the Studio didn't.

    Unfortunately that's all you get on the Style model, it's only the Zetec and upwards which has the trip computer that includes the extra options and also the button on the indicator stalk. You will still have the fuel warning light which comes on at around 50 miles left, but no actual readout of exactly how many I'm afraid.
