First Service

Featured Replies

i know this may just be me being thick, but im just wondering when a first service on a new car is? im assuming with the new cars, the car itself will tell you when its needed but im just curious so i can be ready for it.

i have a fiesta zetec s, if that makes any difference

Don't depend on the car to tell you that. Service is depending on usage really but the general idea is every 10k but I don't know your exact car engine so check your hand book for specific servicing

I believe servicing intervals for all Ford cars is 12,500 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. I've always done mine yearly.

Try registering on the Ford ETIS site. You should be able to see exactly how often a service is required for your car, and what should be involved. You need to cut and paste the following into your browser as linking directly from here comes up as a fault.
