Fiesta Alloy

Featured Replies

So the dreaded news I didn't want to hear this morning (yep the pothole damage to my car is a buckled alloy)

Now they are going to try seal it so I can use it in the interim but £185 is abit steep for a new one direct from ford?

Is there somewhere else I can pick a standard Zetec alloy up? Or is it worth just swapping a rear for a front?

The only issue is it drops to 26/7psi right now it's how the damage was identified

If the buckle can be balanced out, there should be no real need to swap front to back. But if it turns out to be duff, start with the obvious places like eBay to source a secondhand wheel.

I would always look to replace the wheel as a matter of safety. The last thing you want is a blow out or similar when driving - especially on the motorway. Never take any risks with your safety.

There are plenty of decent priced wheels on the net - have a scour around, you'll get one cheap enough.

It's more an interim measure fella :)

A new one is on the list except house move first then it can be done.. As you can imagine splashing out for a mortgage / furniture etc it's left things a little tight :)

Ah, ok.

I didn't realise you were moving house. Best of luck :)
