Dash Cluster?

Featured Replies

Anyone know what leds are used in the dash cluster? Eg the speedo, revs etc. thinking of changing them to blue

I always thought they were incorporated into the pcb so I doubt you will be able to change them, the cluster on the mk6 fiesta is a sealed unit anyway, what year fiesta?

As above is correct, unless you want to sit for hours and desolder then solder the new LEDs in place and run the risk of breaking the pcb board, which is highly likely if you dont take electrostatic precautions and plus the heat might break the silver lines in the pcb veins then yh its doable but to if it will work again after plus if you do break it the pcb board is only programmed to one ecu, so either a new ecu pcb cluster keys or new cluster plus the cost of ford reprogramming it, which isn't going to be cheap id leave it alone. There is a kit on eBay to change the back display i have done it and changed the look totally and doesn't show red anymore more just white which looks better.
