Anyone Intrested In A Foc Uk Meet

Featured Replies

Hello all

ive been pointed this direction to see if anyone would be interested in a FOC uk meet.

Location is still to be decided and as is date, it is really to test the water and see if the idea will go anywhere

I think it would be a good idea to have the meet somewhere relevant, i have been to a few official gatherings such as things like retro rides, BMW fest. these seem to be well placed normally at a museum or a track.

The last one i went to was at the Heritage Motor museum and the one before that was the haynes motor museum. of course they both have tracks and yes you can use them at a price.

Any one keen, or am i barking up the wrong tree?

Regards Matt

I think the problem is the vast amount of distance between members so where ever you have it you will get people but ones closer to venue except some die hards, If it was close enough to me i would go, but for me 100 miles is about it each way.

I'd would be interested but just the distance could be a issue

You need to have it somewhere central. Like the West Midlands lol

I live in the northyorkshire area so getting to a meet may be a issue

Try the south or south east instead, pal. :P

As already stated, distance will be an issue.

North East is the furthest I'll be able to go mate sorry

Distance is the overall issue, this is why we have local meets based on area.

I think the Ford Fair is about the closest people can go to a full FOC'ing meet :)

Where is that normally held

I intend to meet up with one of the members on here in the summer hopefully, it means traveling from central Scotland down to Kent!

Hoping to make a few stops over 2-3 days. Haynes motor museum is somewhere I have always wanted to go so is still on my list of possibilities.

If you were up for that then I would be happy to make a stop and meet up with you somewhere.

Yeah sounds cool. I'm planning on meeting my old mate who stays in Hemel Hempstead, then from there down to Kent so I will probably pass Essex on the way..

Northern Ireland anyone? Lol ;-)

Would love to see Stef squeeze that into his itinerary :p

Lmao... Not sure how I would work that..
