2012 Ford Focus Sony Dab Radio

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I want to disconnect my battery to do some electrical work, and im worried i may lose my radio code

looking in my instruction manual for car code is not listed, but it states it is "VIN plate related" ??

Can anybody shed any light on what that means ??

Regards

I'm pretty sure that your radio doesn't have a code to enter, it is programmed to be recognised by the car.

Hi Clive

Thanks for that info

Regards Keith

The radio definitely doesn't have a code and is not paired to the VIN in any way. I took my standard Ford stereo out for a Sony one from a Titanium and it was a straight plug and play swap.

I know iNath has also done this on many Fiestas with no issues at all :)
