hi i`m having problems with my 2002 focus the seat belt (airbag) light is flashing 4 times then 2 for about a minite then stays on has anyone got any ideas on what it is i`ve tried the disable but that is not working so i`m stuck as to what to do to fix this thanks for your help

    read somewhere about check the wiring connectors under the drive seat are together some times come apart

    Code 42 (four flashes, pause, two flashes) means the primary crash sensor is not reading.

    It's at the front near the radiator.

    The connections or sensor are probably corroded.
