Hi folks , I am looking for some help or suggestions regarding a problem with my Mondeo . I washed my car the other day , and noticed that there was a black stain around the wheel arch below the fuel inlet , when i washed the car this stain was very stubborn to remove . After 2 days it has returned again only on that side could it be a fuel leak coming from behind the wheel at the tank . I have had a look but cannot see any obvious signs of a fuel leak ?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated !

    being a 58 or 08 reg it might have had a respray and it could be behind the laquir the clear top coat of paint and thats why it might be bleeding through
