A Flatbed reversed into my "new to me" zetec s today! want my car back asap so might remove the ruined tailgate myself and fit a new one from a car down my local scrappy (same colour and model, in good nick so no dramas there) Their insurance seems like itll pay out, just wanna see if they'd give me cash and let me buy and fit it myself. cheers, Owen. Its one of those jobs where you can do it yourself if you need to keep the costs down, but if they are going to accept liability, then just let them pay out the full cost for a 'proper job' rather than a budget job.
