2009 Mondeo 1.8 Diesel K-K-K-Kangarooing

Featured Replies

Hello

My brother in law's Mondeo is sick

You can drive it IF you tickle the throttle and i mean tickle.

If you press the pedal 10mm it'll start kangarooing and will slow down

From cold you wouldn't notice it if you had a gentle warm up cycle.

Disconnecting the MAF sensor kinda helps. In that it doesn't want to boost anymore but will still kangaroo but not as easily

Fault codes have been cleared and car driven for ten mins

Fault codes are

P1100- AIR FLOW

P2000- NOX TRAP

P0028- INTAKE CONTROL

P100C

P2012

P0600- SERIAL COMS

P0064- HO2S HEATER CONTROL HIGH VOLTAGE

P0100-AIR FLOW

P2800

P0CLC

P3000

CO64F

C1220- ABS LAMP

C2E20

Thanks

Matt

Disconnect the battery and then go to the internal fuseboard, disconnect all wiring harnesses and refit in turn. Also check all the earthing points and clear them as necessary.
