2009 Focus Zetec S Tail Pipe

Featured Replies

Hi. I wanted to give my exhaust a bit more style, but I can't afford to get a new system, so I bought a tail pipe trim from amazon; twin tip with drop down to fit the downward pipe on the car. It will fit the pipe but the exhaust is to far to the left and the tail pipe won't sit straight in the diffuser. It's there any way to adjust the position of the exhaust pipe to make it sit properly?

Thanks

Thanks. Guess I'll be sending it back. :-(

I paid 65 quid for my tailpie to be custom fitted at a powerflow dealer. very happy with it - better than any old bolt on rubbish

Here you go James. Check this thread out. All the info you need.

Hes talking about a bolt on trim guys

Yes but what we are saying is get it custom fitted it basically has to be. I researched this in great detail and there is no bolt on fitting that works with the zetec s bumper that I could find, its due to where the tailpipe is positioned its too far to one side meaning any trim will not fit under the rear diffuser. It needs the existing tailpipe cut behind the rear Axel and a new piece of pipe bending round to the gap in the diffuser and then the tailpipe fitting.

Thanks guys. power flow seems the best bet. I've had a look and there's a dealer near me. So I'll give that a go when funds allow

Even better if you can save alittle longer would be to get Twin exit system to fill both sides of the diffuser!
