Adjustable Power Steering?

My manual seems to say that there is a steering setting in the menu (sport, comfort, standard) but i cannot see it in the menu of my 2009 focus. I take it that adjustable steering isn't on all models? Mine is a 2009 zetec 1.6.

    There should be a menu available.

    It's only accessible while parked though.

    The adjustable power steering is only available on Focus MK2/MK2.5 versions which are equipped with an electric/hydraulic power steering system (EHPAS).

    The 1.4 and 1.6 Petrol versions of the Focus MK2/MK2.5 do not have the EHPAS system. These versions have a conventional power steering system which is driven by the engine. Because this system is purely mechanical it is not possible to adjust the sensitivity of the power steering.

    All other versions of the Focus MK2/MK2.5 have the EPHAS system and should have the adjustable power steering.

    as above only bigger engines and the diesels have that feature 1.4 and 1.6 petrol do not have it as its not deemed necessary
