Power Steering Stiff

hi-guys,

as I am still a newbie, and don't know where to look for posting on power steering problem on mk6 fiesta. every morning I have trouble steering the car on/off the drive ie rather stiff/heavy, after about 6 miles it becomes normal again, so what will need replaceing the pump or drive belt, can some one please help me out. many thanks

I would start with a fluid flush take off return pipe at bottle put a blanker on bottle then get help of a friend help u hold pipe in bucket get ur friend start engine lock steering side to side u keep topping up till clean fluid make sure u constantly fluid goin through don't want pump running dry for long
